What You Will Do
As an application & Mechanization engineer understand the farming constraints and pain levels at a micro-level.
Prepare and define the problem statement comprehensively for presentation and discussion with an R&D team to address the problem statement in the most efficient and economical way.
Increase farm production through agricultural engineering methods.
Implement agricultural engineer programs to improvise quality standards in agricultural products.
Design and develop farming machines, implements, and equipment like conveyors and drag chains.
Counsel and educate farmers and agriculturalists on the latest farming issues and techniques.
Plan, develop and initiate fertilization programs and harvesting cycles.
Develop and manage irrigation processes and issues.
Conduct research on the latest trends in agricultural engineering and farming aspects.
Interact and coordinate with farming professionals, agronomists, agricultural technicians, and farmers.
Interact with agricultural vendors, clients, and government organizations.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal agricultural laws and guidelines
Job Responsibilities:
Design and developing the farm implements like tilling, fertilization, and harvesting as per the Standards
Perform extensive research on modern Agriculture equipment
The performing calculation for product design and material selection
Supervise production of machinery and equipments
Specify functional requirements during the development phase
Ensure designed systems function reliably and for a long time
Testing and evaluating the products as per the standards
Visiting the fields and collecting the needs for new product development
Skills Required:
Good knowledge and a high Mechanical aptitude and passion in Farm mechanization equipment and machinery.
Good exposer towards force calculation on the products
Concept development skills and design in the CAD tools
Capability of carryout the Root cause analysis and Troubleshooting at the stage of Concept development
