What You Will Do

Work Environment: Position is based in Head office.

Make strategies for cost reduction in buying of chemicals, intermediates, technical and its formulation.

Cost control of around ?150 Crore annual spend.

• Identify, develop sources and procurement of :
• Raw materials and intermediates.
• Technical and formulations.
• Emulsifiers and solvents
• Agrochemicals Finish goods strategic buying.
• P2P, Job-work/ Contract manufacturing
• Make procurement strategy and plan buying better than market price.
• Coordinate with QC and R & D team in development of new product.
• Ensure compliance of EHS while sourcing of R.aw Materials.
• Coordinate with internal customers, stores and finance for smooth Source to Pay process.
• Ensure compliance of purchasing procedures and guidelines in area of responsibility.
• Act as auditee for ISO and internal audits. Plan corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure value addition in procurement and present the same to management.
• Ensure tracking & monitoring of monthly purchasing metrics.
• Ensure high level of quality and supply performance.

• Bachelor of science with 10-12 years of purchasing experience or equivalent.
• Graduate in Materials Management will be added advantage Knowledge,

• Having exposure of 7-10 years of raw material buying.
• Good in written and oral communication.
• Excellent command on MS office, especially MS Excel and PPT.
• Knowledge and experience ERP, Tally system/ SAP – MM Module.
